A. Jane and her Tinkerbell lunchbox
B. Taylor and his colored pencils.
C. Jef and his new laptop computer.
Anyway, Taylor is a big third grader this year and Jane is in first. I do miss having them around, but it is also fun to have time to spend with the other three. It is also nice to not have anyone in Kindergarten so I can actually go places during the day. The other morning I dropped the three youngest off with Mom and went to the temple. In the middle of the day. How cool is that?
Anyway, I thought the kids might be sad to leave me, and so I offered to drive them on the first day, but Taylor and Jane sped off on their bikes with no problem. I guess that's a good thing. They both have people they know in their classes so that's nice too. I don't really like packing lunches, but actually have found I don't need to. Apparently the kids can go play at recess as soon as they are done with lunch, so mine just don't eat theirs. Well, sometimes they drink their Capri Suns and down their fruit snacks, but that's about it.
Jef has started the EMPA program at BYU's Salt Lake Center. He will be gone every Wednesday night for the next three years. If anyone wants to come up for some chick movies, you have a standing invite for Wednesday nights. He was gone three nights last week for orientation - they had to do a ropes course together one night. I feel like I'm sending him off to EFY instead of a University! Ha ha, just kidding Jef, I'm only saying that because I know how much you enjoyed it.

I didn't do so well on your pop quiz. Poor Jono! If I could figure out a way to send him some Tillamook ice cream , I would. That stuff would fatten him up in a few days.
Julie, you and Jef are so sun! Be sure to bring your camera to the party Saturday afternoon. We're looking forward to seeing you!
P.S. If I had known you were getting tubes in Jono's ears, I could have saved you a little money--I think I still have the ones they put in Donovan's years many many years ago. Why would a mother keep those? I don't know. I just don't know.
I meant fun, not sun. But, you are sunny, too!
Hi Julie! We have the Nikon D40, and I understand there is quite a debate over Nikon vs. Canon. I'm not entirely sure we can associate in certain photography circles. About those photography lessons - much to James' dismay, I have yet to take it out of auto mode. I did find this website useful: http://digital-photography-school.com/digital-photography-tips-for-beginners
Wade bought a new laptop, too. He was like a little boy waiting for a new puppy the way he checked the UPS website 6 times a day to see the shipment status. Was Jef like that? So funny! But also, now that Wade is working more nights, I might take you up on the Wednesday night offer. How fun would that be? You up for watching Anne of Green Gables? ;)
Brody sticks his toes through his blanket too. That's a cute picture of Logan! I hope Jono is doing better and you are surviving without Jef on Wednesday nights!
Poor Jono -- and poor you! I hope he is feeling better.
And Logan is way too cute from the top of his crazy hair to the bottom of his hot little toes!
Julie,
I love reading your blog. It's so clever and your kids are deliciously cute!
